Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system (RDBMS) Microsoft products. Its primary query language is Transact-SQL that is an implementation of the ANSI/ISO SQL standard which is used by Microsoft and Sybase. General SQL Server used in the business world that has a small data base up to medium, but then developed with the use of the SQL Server on large data bases.
Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase/ASE can communicate over the network using protocols of the TDS (Tabular Data Stream). Apart from that, the Microsoft SQL Server also supports ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) and JDBC drivers have for the Java programming language.
